What should I bring for class?

Can I choose my preferred coach?

Yes, of course!

However, it will be subjected to availability. As some coaches may not be available at the timing that you prefer or the coach's current class may not be suitable for your kid’s current level. We group our students according to age and level, therefore our admin will recommend you a few time slots that is suitable for your child’s learning progression.

On the first day of trial, students are required to bring along swimwear and goggles (if you have one). Alternatively, if you do not have a goggle, you may purchase one from our swim coach.

Parents are also advised to bring a bottle of warm water to warm the children up in the case of a cold day.

How long will it take for my child to learn to swim?

No learner is the same, everyone has a different learning ability.

Generally, students of 5 years and above take a minimum of 6 months to learn how to swim.
This is why we implemented a minimum of 6 months commitment per child

Younger learners or students with water phobia will take a longer time.

What is the maximum class size?

Our maximum class size is 10 pax to 1 coach.

Generally, we try to keep the class size to a maximum of 6 pax. However, for popular weekend timeslots, it may get to 10 pax per class. However this may be subjected to changes

What if my child cries during the swimming lesson?

If your child cries, it does not reflect that your child isn’t ready for a swimming lesson.

Your child may be facing separation anxiety or getting accustomed to the new surroundings and faces or just having a bad day.

Give your child some time and let your child develop confidence. We are confident that your child will be able to enjoy this wonderful experience with us.

What if my coach is absent?

If the coach is on leave or sick, we will send a relief coach as a potential replacement for that class. In the event that no relief coach is available, the lesson will be canceled by the school at no charge.

What happen if it rain halfway into the lesson

The charges will apply as stated in our T&C.

For some locations where land exercise can be conducted, we will proceed with land drills.

Our school's main focus is to teach the student how to swim instead of focusing on the SwimSafer 2.0 requirements in our lessons.

Nonetheless, we will prepare students for Swimsafer 2.0 (Bronze and above) when they are proficient in swimming a longer distance.

Do you teach Swimsafer syllabus in your lesson?

How do student benefit from land drills?

Land drills reduce resistance for performing the movements and can facilitate the learning of each stroke since water is denser than air.

As skills develop, learners can practice the same movements in the water, thereby increasing the likelihood of successful performance, with precision in their strokes.

Land drills consist of various activities such as crunches and planks to help build strength and endurance. We also conduct resistance training to help children to strengthen muscles and improve stamina for swimming.

This is an effective way and thus it is an integrated  part of a professional swimmer training program
